Wondering why your cellphone battery drains so fast? Here are some possible reasons and solutions.
Battery drain in my experience is usually due to the phone trying to hang onto an LTE signal when it’s really weak. The phone has to use a LOT of power to do that. Try turning airplane mode on/off to acquire a new data tower. If that doesn’t work, it could mean that you’re either not in range of any LTE towers. If that’s the case, try switching off LTE and using 4G to see if that fixes the battery drain.
If that doesn’t work, it’s either that you have your screen brightness turned way up, one of your background apps uses GPS (another huge battery drainer), an app is trying to refresh itself extremely frequently, or you have malicious software installed that’s sending things over your data connection (check your data transfer logs).
